Have you tried out Simplex? I haven’t tried the group chat feature of it in months, it was pretty rough at first, probably better now. But direct messaging is great.

I was wondering about SimpleX too. It seems to work well from what a I’ve seen. The main problem, as usual, is network effect.
Chatting with nostr:npub18dlusgmprudw46nracaldxe9hz4pdmrws8g6lsusy6qglcv5x48s0lh8x3 and nostr:npub1clk6vc9xhjp8q5cws262wuf2eh4zuvwupft03hy4ttqqnm7e0jrq3upup9 in my Keet hangout room and they seem to report that simplex is still a bit buggy.

Interesting. I haven’t had too many problems thus far but also haven’t stress tested it.
