It births us, sustains us, and eventually takes us back. It does not owe us anything. We owe it everything.

And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and SUBDUE it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves upon the earth.
I do not wish to subdue the earth. I instead wish to move with it. To change, as it changes. believe I have dominion over my brothers: the fish, the bear, the moose and the rest of the animals I depend on. I do, however, respect your right to believe in anything you wish.
