I'm new to Nostr and this is my first post! I'm a #Bitcoin plebeian, #Linux and technology enthusiast and shoot #USPSA competitively in my leisure time. I enjoy learning about Bitcoin and the technology surrounding Bitcoin and the Lightning Network.

I have a question. When on-boarding friends and family to Bitcoin what topics do you typically cover? Public/private key-pairs, single and multi signature wallets, wallet software, addresses ( send, receive and change ), UTXO management? Do you going into the Lightning network and the differences between it and on-chain transactions? I think at the very least understanding key-pairs and the importance of self-custody is paramount. Perhaps I’m being to technical for an initial on-boarding. Any suggestions on how to Orange-Pill my friends and family?
