Threads had a spike and drop but since then itโ€™s grown a lot. A bunch of it is because Meta is promoting threads on instagram and Facebook, but the growth and engagement is real.

The Dec spike can be also the unlocking of the EU region that was kicked out since the summer โ€™23 till Dec.

Personally, I care neither about Threads nor BlueSky. Just more noise. Iโ€™m curious if either have managed to attract the younger audience of tweens. Otherwise, itโ€™s just the same old ramblings

On that matter, I learnt that Threads seems much worse than any other of these platforms by now. Early Instagram was cool with a vast load of random folks showing how they perceive their day-to-day world. And some are still there. Yet, current Threads seems like all these redundant influencers, fashion shooters, marketing strategists and consultants, all the people who were earlier flooding Instagram with glossy yet irrelevant pictures the last couple of years (and effectively, this way, destroyed it) now are given the opportunity to easily post written text. And... needless to say this doesn't get better. ๐Ÿ˜”
