It is not enough to just buy Bitcoin. If you, like me, bitcoin because you no longer want to participate in the world economy that fuels all the wars, injustices and blind hate around the world, then we must do more.

We need to drive an alternative economy, it isn't enough to take the money from the government, we need to take the unit of trade away from them too.

If we transact using fiat tools and services, not only do we support the surveillance and taxation of our trades, but we also drive demand for the very broken money that we want to divert to bitcoin.

Do anything you can, take any opportunity you find and find ways to help bitcoin spread and stick wherever you can. We will get there, the rest of them will reconsider when it becomes clearer that bitcoin is an option for them to choose.

I think Texas is the only state that doesn't participate in federal energy sharing. So Texas is probably the most suited to create self sustainable communities? Or which states have the least laws/regulations on building your own community power plant and water infrastructure?

I don't know too much about mining or Texas, but my thought was simply to make sure we know the goal and direct our energy towards it whether directly or indirectly.

Indirect action can seed the idea and lay the foundation so that further direct action is more successful.
