But it was just on/off, no flow control.
How did it work?
It changed during the dream, but the last thing it did was that it was a lever that you pushed down, and it opens a check valve or something, so when the water starts flowing it pushes the laver all the way down. I didn't close it but I'm guessing you'd have to push the lever back up.
But it would be cooler to have a push button somewhere that stops the water flow and allows the lever to rise back with a counterweight and close the main valve again by itself.
Thats a lot of detail you remember. I always seem to forget my dreams the more I try to remember.
Tbh I only remember pushing it down and it going the rest of the way by itself. But I know a thing or two that helped me fill in the blanks.
I love levers and stuff like that that just open and close with a feather touch but are completely mechanical.
Dream inventions are fucking cool and super high signal. Mine that kernel for all it's worth in your waking mind. There are probably some aspects of it that "don't work" in real life, but there's probably some real invention somewhere at the bottom that your unconscious mind is trying to tell you about.
Also: it might not be about sinks or levers. Think laterally and cross-pollinate
