I think that's foxglove

ah crap I thought I'd hit the Comfry jackpot.

Comfrey is really hard to get rid of once established.

You don't want the fertile variety that spreads by seeds.

You can plant a lot of comfrey quickly using the root cuttings from a single plant. You just need to get 1 established & you'll have all the comfrey you'll need.

Looks like a mustard green to me

heyyy shi shi!

i think nostr:npub1dqepr0g4t3ahvnjtnxazvws4rkqjpxl854n29wcew8wph0fmw90qlsmmgt nailed it - foxglove.

I'm glad I asked, because its poisonous and comfry is edible!!

Hey hey!

Yeah don't go eating forage unless you're sure sure 🤣🫡🫣

People have poisoned themselves making this mistake. Also, my experience is that whilst comfrey if edible, it's not that nice.

I agree, I don't eat it personally but one day I'd like to fry up the flowers.

It's actually in the plantain family of plants 💜

Google is giving me Lady Glove, sage and comfrey. It does look a lot like Bocking 14 though. However it can't be because this is clearly wild (if it is comfrey).

I don't know. If you want some surefire comfrey order it from nostr:npub1ugnq57hn8va6xqr5zywy2eunem6c624583vkt0dmv40ep7tnnxkqrr898l. I know he has Bocking 4 and 14. I sold him the root stock for his B4 variety so I can personally vouch for those genetics.

yes i'll take some!

will wait on the flowers on my picture plants to confirm what they are.
