I get his point.

Similarly, at the office, we used to have a printer that could scan to email. I thought that was great.

But the UX was terrible, especially to manage contacts. Had to remember the email address correctly and type it in (no qwerty keyboard).

So I almost never used it. Only to send myself scans...
