I think the power sharding and energy shortage in Africa is unrelated to here. But, I have a friend in south Africa who keeps telling me about the sharding of power. Sometimes he has like 2h power, then 4h without, 2h again, rinse repeat. He reckons it's due to the corruption in his country.
