One of the most surprising things to me about Nostr has been allowing me to be myself again on the Internet. I hope that more and more people realize its enormous importance and that those of us here continue working outside to make it known. 💜🫂

If you don't have a ton of social credit attached to your npub, this is probably true. If you do, though, you are at the mercy of the mob just like anywhere else. Unpopular opinions will get you tarred and feathered. Nostr isn't broken, but people are.
