Humans can’t exist without communities. Liberals understand this. Picking and choosing who can be in the community and who can’t based on skin color or “nationality” is a failing mindset. The right wing mindset is an ideology of isolationism which is failing strategy.

it has to be based on shared values.
Funny thing about that, one side pretends to have this strong value system yet everyone in that party doesn’t live by ANY of their so called values.
For example we have a president right now that is the leader of the family values party. They claim that traditional family values are the foundation of their belief system. On male father, one female mother, and children. You stand before all of your family, friends, and god and swear that you’re committing the rest of your life to theirs. You’ll never leave them. You’ll never betray them. Yet their savior has taken this oath three times. Has fathered children with numerous women. Has cheated on ALL of his wives. Even his current one. These people have no values so it’s impossible to share common values with them. They also discriminate against people for things that are ridiculously unimportant like race. If you’re so ignorant that you’re willing to hate someone because of their skin color without knowing anything else about them I can’t share anything with you. Is what it is. I don’t care if you’re on board with me on something’s if you believe any republican is a great voice for you then I can’t fuck with you.
why are you bringing skin color into this? I don't believe i have argued for anything based on race. I will tell you living in Texas that people from all different background live peacefully together, but when it has been the most successful, we agree on the importance of family and related virtue.
You’re missing the irony that DEI is literally discrimination in service of tolerance, racism is service of morality.
Not saying institutional bigotry doesn’t exist but the paradox I am highlighting is also real.
Y’all always fall for the bait. Hi, racist!
Aha, you’re not looking for conversation. You’re looking for a pat on the back. Good troll. There, there. This way to your safe space, where no new ideas can hurt you.
Right wingers always feel like they are one that’s presenting some new idea to the conversation that’s never been discussed. I’ve had this conversation for 50 years. Right wingers haven’t had a new idea in centuries, but your parents keep sniffing glue while you’re in the womb so here we are.
