Yesterday was a holiday for the boys so they got to stay home from school. They spent at least 2 hours at the creek in the -10F temperatures playing on the river of ice. Thankfully the creek is so shallow that if they managed to break through the ice the worst they would be is knee deep.
For once a Kraken game was on early but they ended up losing and ended their streak. It was bound to happen sooner or later. I cleaned in the kitchen while it was on then in the afternoon made a new batch of tortillas. I rolled some of these out which makes them a good bit bigger and thinner but allows them to be used for wraps. The next batch will get rolled so we have more than a handful of large ones.
Today is our calm before the winter❄ storm warning takes effect and we are looking at up to 16" of snow by the time it starts raining on Saturday and reaches 40F. Talk about neurotic weather this year... It just can't make up its mind.
