Its a bit comparing apples and oranges. You pay spotify for a service, you run a bitcoin node to verify txs from unknown people to you. You don't have to though, you can just trust the blockexplorers...etc

It costs around the same to host a computer with two terabyte of storage ... and 24 by 7 uptime .. electricity !
Yeah, but its still a completely different thing. Spotify doesn't store "your" songs, they might remove some from your playlist without asking you. A bitcoin tx wont just be taken from you. I don't know, its just a wierd comparison altogether 😅
I myself don't have a permanent list of songs I like :-) .. it is more dynamic than the rate of change at which Spotify !
It stops being weird when you approach from the perspective of a normie .. someone who is not in bitcoin rabbit hole sees this obsession over permanence crazy 🤣 .. it is like solving a problem that no one has !
