Apple's magnetized power connector should be the standard. Everything else wears out, gets loose, gets inadvertently yanked out--it's genius. Credit where credit is due.
I wonder if I could convert my usb-c power connector to a magnetized one...

Or at least have ports that are easy to replace, ala Framework laptops.
Something like
https://magtame.com/products/magtame-180-magnetic-cable?_pos=2&_sid=f0ee18ef1&_ss=r
Or https://magtame.com/products/magtame-140w-pd-usb-c-magsafe-3-adapter
Or https://magtame.com/collections/adapter
Or adapt this search for your config on Amazon “USB-C Adapter Female Interface Compatible with T-Head Output 60W, Beyee Type C Charging Converter Compatible with air 11'' 13''/pro 13''”
👆will get you https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07Y9N5G39
So basically you want a “converter” and you want “usb-C male to _____ (your desired MagSafe type) converter”
Something like https://www.amazon.com/korllo-Mag-Safe-Compatible-Supports-Charging/dp/B0B8J4PZ1Y and then add usb-c male to male adapter if you can’t find a MagSafe with the usb-c male end already (there are long cable versions but that’s to go from wall to computer)
Thank you! I should have known someone already was making this...
I mean...you could always go to Radio Shack and buy the raw materials and make it yourself...
P.S. #Thanks for the #Zap
their website is jacked up, can't select U.S. as delivery country
looks like they're still a very young company, will give them time to mature
