Your own media part can be a problem with TikTok like approach. It must be absolutely quick and a lot happens behind the curtain. It’s not just a file server, per se. We are past the time where you could just have one file served and prayed it didn’t crush under the load. Each uploaded video must be converted into multiple bitrate formats and codecs, it must be split for better cacheability (not always required) and served in a VOD stream for the most optimal viewing experience 🐶🐾🫡
