All I want is the best for each person. That said, what I think is best isn't necessarily going to be heard or well received.
Most of the time, STFU is best unless someone asks. If they ask, go whole hog.

For people I care about and think they can comprehend bitcoin, I feel an obligation to tell them about it. Not to convince them, but at least to tell them. I didn’t have anybody to tell me in person and it would have been immensely helpful.

Yep, that’s my thinking. Not having someone that I knew personally to show me the way probably delayed me buying bitcoin by a year or two. I was very confused by the sheer volume of info out there.
