Yeah, I removed nostr.wine from my relay list. Nostr.wine has a filter relay too, but it requires a monthly subscription. I’m primarily just using WoT now.

Web of Trust. Only the people the owner of the relay follows (and the people who they follow) are able to post on the relay.

nostr.wine is a paid relay - you have to pay to write to it. Spammers aren’t willing to pay. We haven’t had a single one in 2 years.

Scammers have paid for damus purple to try to look legit with the star. Probably going to just make a purple tos and ban them

Damn that’s good to know.

I’m sure it’s coming to us eventually. We will def ban spammers as it’s against our existing TOS - but good reminder as that needs a rewrite too.
