Yeah, I agree it will definitely lead to a culture where people are more free to choose. I think the culture we see today is an outcome of not being able to choose freely due to inflation out-pricing our freedom to choose. Hence 2 parents in the work place for 1 example. Moms can “girl boss” all they want, but in reality, both parents are in the workplace because it’s really freakin hard to have a family in 2023 on 1 income.
In my experience, when people aren’t worried about money, they typically have 1 spouse working and 1 at home raising the children. And even right now, I have friends doing this where the at-home parent is pursuing their side-gig hobby. This is viewed as very traditionalist from my perspective. This doesn’t mean 1 parent is more important that the other at all, although “progressive”ideology today minimizes the role of a stay-at-home parent.
Also, imo religious is not necessarily synonymous with traditionalist. Either way, I believe it’s human nature to end up worshiping something, whether they think they do or not.
