just so we can all stop posting about this:
a frying pan does have control over the "heat". to test this separate the pan from the steak and touch the pan with your hand to see if it controls the heat
and the usb cable does have control over the data. connect a dysfunctional cable and and observe data corruption
a lightning node cannot manipulate the data flow and removal of it within the network allows for natural flow of "sats" through other nodes. 
Utter nonsense. At best, this is a lack of understanding of the technology. More likely, nothing but blatant intelectual dishonesty.
Lets take their own examples: a USB cable and a frying pan. They both serve as middle men that "transmit" data/heat.
The difference between these and Samourai, is that, although brief, there is a point in time where a USB cable "custodies" the data packet it is "transmitting" from one machine to another. Likewise, a frying pan takes in, custodies, and spreads the heat it is "transmitting". They are not peer to peer interactions.
