A bit off topic, and I'm not trying to make it sound like I'm generalizing in any way, but sooooooo many people seem to display such narcissistic attention seeking behavior nowadays. It can be unbearable when so many people only want to talk about themselves and are never interested in learning new things.

I agree with your sentiment. I don’t see it as much here on nostr, as people can often see right through it and are here to learn and to engage. Tough to build relationships if all youre doing is talking about yourself.
That being said, I can see how some might be using the platform to explore their own thoughts and interpretations of the world, as a form of expression and self exploration.
Well said. 👍 Lol! I gotta admit, I was a bit nervous about bringing this up. It can be a touchy topic, nowadays. People are SEEEENNNNSITIVE!!! And yes, you're right! I don't see that type of behavior on Nostr as much. Thank god! Some people (whose names I won't give out) still display this kind of behavior very heavily. Lol. HAD to block them!
I think nostr is the place where anything goes. I think the key is just to display humility and respect for people and then no subject should ever be “off limits”.
