It was more functional at launch than it is today.
It is easier and quicker to use the main chain if w/d from cash app.
The community looks to the app and the company as a representation for what the future could potentially look like when bitcoin is used for payments.
Do better.
I’m only calling this out because I care. It’s truly out of love. 
My Lightning payments also took hours to process and sometimes got outright canceled. I'm glad to know I'm not the only one with the issue and it's nothing on my end.
