Will Bitcoiners adopt Rumble?

Everyone should adopt Rumble. YouTube is anti-freedom, except when it comes to allowing total scammers to run adds.

I remember about a year ago when some AI Brad Garlinghouse was on an ad! XRPiss is scammy enough without the fake ads 😂

100% agree.

Will be fun to watch how they implement zaps and the wallet.

Yeah it'll be a cool feature but I think we are too spoiled on nostr already

It will probably be horrible in comparison

But maybe they'll surprise me

Ya we'll see. Curious if they've been watching what's going on here.

I can’t stomach the Rumble ads.

If I could run a rumble node so I wouldn’t have to see ads and they avoided squeezing money from me to pay out profits, maybe I’d find some compatibility. I’d even let them route 2x my consumption through my node to make sure they saw a network positive from my participation.

I downloaded the app yesterday to check it out. The ads were brutal. Same with truth social lol

depends on the content

Youtube is unwatchable today. Ads after every song, ads in the middle of longer videos. Rumble needs more content and stay away from ads

Yeah I think Rumble has a real shot

They also have some heavy backing in Tether now

Their main drawback is the UX - which I'm hoping will be fixed at some point

They will, 100%. When Runble begin to roll out zap capabilities in December.

Do enough people care about zaps yet though?

I would think bitcoiner content creators care about them and would be all for zaps for their content, even dual creation on YT and Rumble, to begin. I think zaps coming to rumble is the most bullish thing to happen in a while.

I know the general audience is on YouTube but the service is becoming unsuable without premium or a good ad blocker, i think it's worth cross posting as a hedge especially if you're in a niche that is often shadow banned!

Would be cool if Rumble added nostr and zaps support, the first publicly traded company to do it would be wild

I rarely get ads , I run Tor I don’t know if it’s blocking it

I've tested rumble without an ad blocker, there are ads and they're pretty bad, not sure who their ad network provider is but they can't be high CPM payers

Agreed.

I actually stopped live streaming on YouTube. I just had enough of their bullshit.

Now exclusively on nostr and Rumble

I will definitely lose a ton in the short term but hoping it pays off long term

Watching you on Nostr is a moral statement. Actually, watching you anywhere except YouTube is a moral condemnation of the tribe that controls that platform.

Only if it's necessary

I like Rumble. I'd adopt it if I don't need to verify myself, just for my attention, ad free. I do pay for and donate for content but I don't subscribe to stream. Rumble has potential if its technonogy fills a privacy/value niche for the Rumble global feed.
