A lot of people are afraid of fascism, but we already lived through an extreme version of it just a few years ago. Many of the fascists are still in power. Imagine if, right now, the government locked you in your home, shut down your job, and forced a new pharmaceutical product injection on you with no testing, and if you don't abide, they will start to close you off from society.

Just because there was a virus going around back then doesn't mean that they had the right to do that. And since hindsight is 20/20, their actions actually made things a lot worse, so that further backs up the claim.
