For sure, that would be the next feature I want to start working with app devs on. All account info is in a SQL db, so clients just need to confirm users npub1, and if so, use different image uploader, and update db.

If this is your future, you have to put a relay with simple relay auth. It's not worth coding a separate http-based auth with nostr keys.

Was planning to just let the apps authenticate and they access db directly.. Bit yes, long run may be better
