I actually kinda like the idea of not being able to delete notes. The older I get, the more I forget things.
It's nice to imagine there's a place in the #nostr universe where something I wrote will linger... long after I'm gone.

Well you don’t have to delete anything if you don’t want to. One thing to be aware of is you might want to either use a service that commits to keeping a backup or keeping a backup yourself. Most relays drop content after some amount of time.

This is something we really need a solution to.
Social media posts can remain very relevant after a LONG amount of time. Practically forever, in fact.
The solution to this is having a Nostr archive which makes a backup of the whole Nostr ecosystem (by querying relays).
The archive wouldn't even be that large compared to several existing archives.
