Yeah even with a nostr:npub126ntw5mnermmj0znhjhgdk8lh2af72sm8qfzq48umdlnhaj9kuns3le9ll there seems to be no way to host a lightning address just yet (without a vm proxy to expose your server to clearnet) but I think it’s on the roadmap.

You can route traffic through a VPN subnet with a firewalla ($$) or OpenWRT

Oh I thought it required a router with a Tor connection, which seemed more complex than a VPN.

No but Start9 can host all services to .onion services. The nice bit with AlbyHub is you get all their API/services with a self-hosted lightning implementation.

Phoenixd uses self-soverign channel splicing to the phoenix node so you don't have to host any proper lightning node.
