I have not touch any of my X accounts for so long I'm not even sure I can still login to them. I don't care to check.
And it's much easier than when I stopped using Facebook and then WhatsApp more than a decade ago, preaching everyone to move to a new app to still communicate with you was a hard and long fight. I still have 1-2 regular contact not using any of the open source apps I use but I know just call them more, which even reinforce our relationship.
Moving to nostr only allows to start from scratch, rebuild the folling/follower base with non-rigged (or less rigged) rules. Having acces only to users that are willing to change and take the problems at core is refreshing and offer new opportunities to grown togheter. The rest will join, most of them eventually by using a new app that will trend, even without knowing they use nostr in the background, until them we can rebuild from the ground up the way we always wanted.
Nostr is like Bitcoin. A once in a lifetime opportunity to change the world for the better.
