#foodstr ft lamb loin chops and my grandma's cast iron

Jealous of handed down cast iron
I have my grandmaโs copper cookware set and her hand written recipe book.
I cook a recipe from her book with the cookware here and there.
It was her passion. ๐ซก
thanks for sharing. grandmas are the best.

๐ซ๐ it's almost over?
7 days is the goal (Wednesday), but Iโll stop before if my body tells me to
Just water? Coffee? Broth?
Water + coffee
Broth might be good idea for next time
Man, thatโs intense. How are you feeling?
Fine honestly. A little lower energy at times but i just take it slow. Actually pretty relaxing.
A lot of extra time too. No meal prep, no grocery shopping and no eating.
I usually go full ketosis / fat adapted prior, then just sip bone broth.
Works like a charm for me.
So you keto for like a week and then fast?
You can get into ketosis within a week. Fat adapted takes more time. Really where you stop being hungry beyond the typical mental carb addictions
But for referenceโฆ letโs say closer to a month. After your body is used to using fat as the energy source the fast is ๐ฅ.
A fast doesnโt have to be miserable. ๐คฃ
I wanna try to get into a rhythm of feasting one day, then fasting for a few days, than feasting, than fasting for a few days etc. Idk if itโs sustainable but Iโd like to give it a go.
