I literally ordered pizza through Nostr, mainly just to see if I could do a Nostr equivalent of Laszlo’s pizza buy, but also to test a near worst-case doomsday scenario.
I would say… Very useful.

Yes. I tried to find the note but it was from Feb of 2023 and I can’t figure out how to easily get back there without scrolling like crazy. But I have some pics.
Basically I copypasta’d Laszlo’s message as a note, had someone reach out to me and we exchanged some messages just to make sure we weren’t screwing each other, fully protecting our own privacy (I had this sent to my “physical coin join address”), He posted an invoice, I paid it via my lightning node, badabing badaboom.
Obviously, there’s many factors here that won’t always line up perfectly, someone else will have control over some part of it, xyz. But tin foil hat on, this could be useful.
Just kinda fun really.

Only one thing better than ordering and buying a pizza through NOSTR is ordering and picking the pizza up free of charge while Sats are auto sent to special needs causes in your community🙂
