I always got poor marks in English at school. Apparently when I wrote essays on books how I perceived the book, it was wrong. Never understood this. The emotion it stirs is what it is and is personal. What’s right and what’s wrong. Is an editor an English teacher. It’s only one opinion and the next person may love it. Or is it just as simple as you had full stops in the wrong place.
