Plus, cash under the mattress is much more comfortable. Gold is to hard and lumpy. That’s just science.

I’ve never owned gold but if I did, my OCD would probably compel me to melt it down to be sure I have real gold.

It's a cool chart for sure, but this probably doesn't apply to most. The 2017 mania and 2021 mania attracted a lot of people, so it would be cool to see it starting from the highs of 2017 or 2021. Some people did start buying at the top.
