Look at Saudi acquiring a stake in DAZN for the CWC streaming rights, Infantino cozying up to Trump/MBS, and the shenanigans around WC 2030 so that Saudi gets to host 2034.

Don’t get me wrong, I’ll probably tune into CWC and attend Saudi 2034. But at the end of the day, petrodollar is gonna petrodollar.

World Cup one thing - I AGREE

CLUB world cup is gonna be other stuff, they got the broadcasting Rights cuzz Apple dropped the ball, Saudis are getting DAZN mainly because of boxing 🥊 CWC was a cheap bonus.

Month long tournament bringing real fans together is going to be 🤯 for the first time you get hinchada Argentina, Flamengo fans, ultras from Europe, northern Africa fans, Australia, hooligans and more in the same place

Definitely explosive combination but the share of true football passion scenes will change the way USA sees football i can guarantee almost
