I use Monero daily, LN occasionally.
Have to say we reached a dead end for now 200 million BTC "owners" or more of which not even 1/1000 use it regularily.
BTC adoption was more advanced 10 years ago.
If at this point you don't have a Bitcoin (preferably lightning) wallet with some money for spending, you are either lazy or stupid, probably both.
I've heard many sob stories of people saying they'll get to it later, but it's too complicated. No it's not, it has never been easier. Use the internet, meet some people and get to it. Porn stars, single moms and grandmas routinely use Bitcoin. If you can use venmo or PayPal or whatever system you use for fiat, Bitcoin is the same but easier.
Another case is of course the Nocoiner syndrome (see https://cryptoanarchy.institute/ for the diagnostic and treatment manual).
Everyone knows that Bitcoin is the future. Some of us knows it's also the present. Fiat system is dying. And you're lazy? Didn't have time to get to it? It's too complicated?
Pathetic. Sorry to say that, but that's just it.

Definitely not. And I started a btc only coffee shop a bit more than 10 years ago.
Where do you use Monero?
VPS, VPN, proxystores, xmrbazaar, shopinbit, esims, giftcards and of course in real life.
I ask at every pos if they would accept Monero. Success depends on your personal ties with the merchant. Freelancers are those who agree most easily.
The key to success: I don't have a credit or debit card which motivates me to create my personal Monero network.
I'd challenge every self proclaimed BTC maxi to do the same. Walk the talk if you want to be taken seriously.
