Not really the phy, nor protocol for such a thing. I.e. range is limited due to physics; and bluetooth makes a 'connection' between two points, its not a system where 1 side is passively listening (as is the case with 'radio')

Was a bit frustrated not finding anyone. Was hoping to make a connection on my route to work of visiting friend around the country. Ending up spoofing my location with the geohash. But I'm feeling a bit like Will Smith with his Germans Shepherd.
