You should be able to 'request desktop' mode, and therefore zoom in as needed

I use that feature in Brave all the time, but I don't want to in this case. It would make zooming in while navigating drop down menus tedious.

Looks like a css padding/margins issue, maybe something with max-width, shouldn’t be a tough fix for them.

As a website creator, I figured as much. But I still want to point it out.
