Never tried these. Are they sweet? Looking a little like German Windbeutel / Windbags; there’s holes inside them which are filled with heavy cream. It tastest light and fluffy but goes directly into love handles.

Dumplings or small fried spring rolls are usually served as a starter here.

I live in Charlottenburg near Kantstraße, where there have been around 50 upscale fusion restaurants, street food stalls, and some authentic homemade Asian spots since 1923. The photo was taken at KaDeWe, which has an Asian restaurant with a balanced, gentle cuisine with selfmade noodles. I love sitting there and watch the cooks prepare the food. For a more homemade feel: Schöneberg, Mamas Banh or Saigon Green, south Asian cuisine, ( no glutamate ).
