Anybody have tips for dealing with door to door salespeople that won’t take no for an answer? Should I just slam the door in their face mid sentence?

I feel bad about it for some reason. Even though I know that’s what they are taking advantage of
Yeah it’s a balance. I say hi like a normal human being but if they proceed after I’ve said no once I just shut it. I’m not interested, they should respect that.
