There isn’t a single state in America where you can afford a two-bedroom apartment while earning minimum wage, as reported by CNBC.

Even in states with lower housing costs, such as North Dakota, a minimum wage worker would need to work 101 hours per week to afford a two-bedroom rental at fair market rent.

Minimum wage is meant for high schoolers looking to learn basic skills. Mainly, how to show up reliably and suck it up. Adults are not supposed to live on minimum wage.

Get a better job. 🤷‍♂️

Figure out what you like doing, then figure out how to get paid doing it.

If all else fails, join the military. You can do anything there from welding to medical.
