If anyone wanted to send a message to the Kochs, they have a GIANT building in ICT. Not to mention their compound off Rock Rd.
I am aware. I've been in their whichita and arlington buildings. that would not have instilled fear the way this does.
I could have never brought myself to walk in there. A lot of people in Wichita love working there. They’re a big employer. But, ethics.
we were trying to get to know them. in they end, they decided we weren't their kind of organization (too independent and principles driven). that's probably a good thing in the long run even though we stayed poorer (relatively speaking) as a result.

Unfathomable. They fly so many planes above us all the time. It's become so normalized. I live in DC near near downtown and my house shakes sometimes when they fly over us. I'm worried this is going to happen again. It wasn't like this even a decade ago.
