Friends, who are new to Bitcoin, often ask me what the easiest way is to acquire Bitcoin with cash? I usually suggest a Bitcoin meetup, but those are infrequent and rarely nearby.

So #question - what are some ways to turn cash into Bitcoin without having to send folks to a Bitcoin ATM !!?!! #asknostr

I'm asking so that I, and others here, have good responses to those genuinely interested in swapping fiat for Bitcoin, but without using traditional banking routes. School me.

Bisq. I've done many cash buys and it works great. The security model and incentives are built right.

I have a series of blog posts on it starting here

Robosats have a cash trade option

You can also approach bitcoin merchants and offer to purchase their sats for cash

Still deposit in the bank and then buy no-kyc with Bisq or even easier on mobile with @peachbitcoin. Do it with smaller amounts <1000 usd per trade to try and stay under the radar…
