ever use Zelle?

They have no customer service.

Which means:

- no recourse for any wrongdoing.

- No way to report criminal activity.

- no way to request limit changes.

And yet, it’s entirely kyc’d.

Banks on both sides of the transaction can freeze the money.

The worst of all worlds.

I recently paid a contractor via Zelle and they froze funds on his side. (We use the same bank btw.)

My money is gone - no recourse for either of us.

When I call the bank - they immediately tell me that Zelle is a third party that they have no control over.

I have also been scammed thru Zelle in a weird furniture fiasco.

You can enter your info and amount lost. To which they respond - there is nothing they can do.

Heres the thing, Zelle is owned by the seven biggest banks in America.

It’s just a scapegoat buffer between banks to absolve them of liability and responsibility.

Stop using it where ever you can.

Fuck banks and everything about them.

Wow that’s bullshit. I have never used Zelle and now I definitely won’t. Thanks for the heads up 🤙🏼

Zelle is so bad it makes PayPal look good.

Once I was asked to pay my rent using Zelle but every bank places their own limit on the transaction size so I was forced to break it up into two automated payments over two days. I called the bank to ask about increasing the limit and they said it couldn’t be changed because of their policy, and that it should be considered a cash-like transaction with no way to reverse it. The representative literally admitted to me that this was done to crack down on scams where people are asked to pay a rental deposit to hold an apartment that doesn’t exist.

Zelle is a fiat shitcoin.

Wtf? That's complete bullshit. I had no idea.

Thanks for the warning, fren.

What?!

One day they blocked my access to Zelle and after long online chat and phone banking conversations, I can't find anybody who knows what's going on, who can tell me why. Now I have to move $ to one of my other banks to use Zelle. Definitely don't use Zelle.

It really is awful but I feel it’s becoming more and more popular.

It’s essentially pix in Brazil and that has effectively taken over consumer payments there.

People will take the convenience until it really bites them

Back when ROBOSATS had offers that persons in the US could use (Zelle, PayPal) I used Zelle to make a purchase. While the transaction went through they called me to confirm. These days any time I have to deal with banks I end up getting angry because of the amount of stupidity and bullshit.

Bitcoin really spoils you, or in better words, really frees you and your money.

Oh, Zelle no!

And yet, it's the last cuckbuck platform you can sell sats with and not have the IRS thieves knocking down your door.
