Every year in california there are massive wild fires because some asshat couldnt be fucked to throw his chain all the way onto his trailer and the resulting sparks catch all sorts of dry brush on fire and now people really truly believe that fire is incapable of happening as a natural phenomenon and instead pretend super space lasers are responsible.

Directed energy attack or deliberate fires set with heavy incendiary devices.
