I would guess there is likely a lower stabilizing threshold. I feel like people are constantly assuming things are positive feedback loops with no thresholds. Earth’s population will be 50B by 22XX. Japan is going to be the largest economy by 19XX. China will be half of earths population and rule the world by 21XX.
