Tldr; The winner of Miss Finland 2025 made a throwaway post in which she wrote "Going for a Chinese" and made an eye-pulling gesture. This sparked outrage in the media and some Finnish politicians copied the gesture in "solidarity". She ended up losing her title.
Nothing to do with my cousin-in-law but she has the same first name as the Miss Finland at the centre of the scandal, and some media outlets mistakenly linked to her social media accounts, sending an army of trolls her way 🤦♀️
