If we could stream sats to consume content, that might unlock some new and interesting possibilities. But everyone would need to do it or we’d seek out free alternatives
I agree on the surface the ad model incentives seem to make sense in the short term, but not sure about the longer arc of time. Ask nostr:npub1sg6plzptd64u62a878hep2kev88swjh3tw00gjsfl8f237lmu63q0uf63m ?
So maybe time preference is a factor here. But also agree at scale most are clearly opting for this now.
Lets see how a reversal away from easy money changes this..
Harder money will only make it less likely that creators will earn enough to sustain themselves unless they specifically name a price and ask people to pay it. You’d be less likely to part with your sats.
