Do you know what?
I didn't know, which is why I googled and got the above. Which I thought would be funny to post.
I did some more googling and found out the reference.
But then I realised we are in an echo chamber (NOSTR) complaining about another echo chamber (MSM), which is very metaphysical and started me thinking about the nature of reality.
I concluded from a previous discussion, below, that everything is metaphysical and everything is a cult:

In the end, we are living in a world of shared ideas which then become our reality, yes. And if you follow physicists like Daniel Hoffman then this is already material scientifally confirmed.

And yes, echo chambers are all over the place. Since we now realize that mainstream media is an echo chamber, one might argue that most of the whole world lived in a huge Western TV echo chamber for decades. Now, we are breaking off into groups, just like the 'Sovereign Individual' book suggested.
It will be important to create links between the different groups though and I think an open decentralized communications and publishing network such as Nostr is the only thing that can reliably provide that. It's the kind of hive mind protocol that can shape our collective consciousness, and hence our reality, efficiently and organically.
