Some things that you own in nostr:

- your identity

- your data

- your reputation

- your posts

- your money

- your social network

- your friends list

- your achievments

- your algorithm

Provable by mathematics. No gatekeepers.

All other systems to date, have hidden royalties, that pay the founders.

Veryify, dont trust.

tbh, I don't think you own anything in Nostr except your npub.

I don't think your client stores all your notes. If no - all these things are stored by relays, do they own all this shit.

Yep. Nostr is not like a network of personal servers like Urbit. We don’t share our data p2p.

You give data to relays and it is theirs to do whatever they want with.

A hood heuristic is “if you can’t delete it, it isn’t yours”.

inb4 “nothing can be deleted off the internet!!!” If that were true, we wouldn’t need the internet archive to help keep things from disappearing.

This is what I should have done. But that was a pretty big check they offered me. It was too easy to take the money and run. But I never would have imagined the hell scape dystopia that social media would be come. I just wanted to connect people with common interests and have fun on the Internet. So don't be too hard on me. ✌️

This is awesome 🔥 Move around everywhere with your keys across all UIs my favorite part

💯

Are friends lists tied to your nsec/ npub or per client?

Follows are declared to relays. However some clients might update the list when you load it, which could list to some inconsistencies from a client to another regarding your timeline

My reputation is questionable but the rest of the list very cool.

Great list! 🤙
