Alcohol has a lot more cultural history. Dates back thousands of years. Marijuana selective breeding stuff is all new. And if you ask me, a lot of it is just pot heads flexing on eachother for having different color flowers and a 1% difference in effect. Kinda gay and a waste of time. We have concentrates now. What's the point of smoking? To die faster? At least alcohol is drastically different based on whats plant fermented, how long, it's location, etc. It's not just one species of plant like weed.

They are both poisons. You guys are fighting for your choice of poison

The only difference between a poison and a drug is the dosage.

Yeah, don’t do/consume anything you can’t do/consume for a long time.

If all of those things can be created in forms that do not contain ethanol, would you still drink them?

Probably more so wine than beer in general. Let me ask you have you ever done something that might not be great for you but you do it anyways for the experience? Like you didn't have to jump off that rope swing into the river but we did, it was worth it. Being adventurous is what exactly leads human beings to innovation. It's also precisely why men are primarily the innovators of society we take risk. It's also easier to help people that have substance abuse problems if you actually have experience with the substances yourself.

Also, I believe it's good to relax the mind every once in a while. Especially if you're using it to the full potential most of the time. Again, all things in moderation. Too much of anything is bad. There just happens to be varying levels based on the substance. You shouldn't watch TV all the time, nor should you drink beer all the time. That doesn't diminish any actual value the TV or beer may have. I can understand how it might be scary in this world where people seem to only be addicted to one thing or another. Set limits, set goals. Keep your limits in check, decrease them if you need adjustments, hit your goals , then set them higher when you achieve them. 💪🏻
