nostr is not what people are gonna come for

that is something that people have to build, and market for

it requires a well fitting client and relay pair, that have both been thoroughly tested for a good fit,

it requires a business model - how the infrastructure is paid for and what tradeoffs are made (advertising, subscription models, freemium),

and it may not even be a nostr network that strongly connects to the rest of the network, because of shitty interoperability

and last but not least, one of the most important use cases i see is replacing tools like github and slack, nostr's flexibility lends itself very well to the user-contribution models that both of those, especially slack, enable - nostr integration to CI/CD systems, project gosting pages, issues, project kanbans and other org tools, instant messaging, helpdesk chat systems

nostr has dev culture in its DNA and i think that it's going to do a lot better once someone deploys it competently towards collab

There is talk on here about getting rid of GitHub 🤙
