It's no coincidence that bitcoin emerged at the end of the web 1.0 Era. The world wide web opened a true Pandora's box. Remember that the last thing to spring from that box is hope.

Similarly, as the web 2.0 Era comes to a close, Nostr emerges as the hope among the chaos created by centralized online platforms. It has to make it through the noise of what left pandora's box before it to get us to the hopeful future.
The more I think about the metaphor the more sense it makes.
